Sharps scope and mounts
« on: August 07, 2009, 08:05:18 PM »
I am curious to find out if anyone has the knowing of where to acquire scope and mounts for my Uberti Sharps. As close to period correct as possible. I know that I can get Creedmore and Soule type thru my local gun store but would prefer the scope type. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks RG

This, for sure, isn't the only place, but might give you some idea what to look for . . .

Hey Otter that is as pretty much just what I am looking for. Thanks for the help.Regret

Does yours look like the one Otter pointed me toward? I can hit pretty good with open sights out to 150 yards or so but out farther than that it gets chancy and dont want to regret a bad hit on an elk or other big game. Any other fellers got any ideas? Thanks, Regret
