What type of grips

I just recently purchased a Uberti 1873 Gunfighter.  I'd like to get a set of none checkered grips.  I haven't looked very hard yet for some, but do i go off a colt clone or will Uberti be listed for the manufactor.  From the little bit i looked i'm thoughly confused any help would be great.

Colt clone.
They will need to be fitted.
If you are handy it isn't hard to do, but some grip makers will fit them for a small fee.
You don't have to give them the whole gun, just the grip portion so it's easy to ship to them.

If I may, a little hint on grips.  If you choose cocobolo, the grips can be left naked, and simply buffed to bring out the natural oils.  That way if ya shoot when it's wet, they will get "tacky", as the natural oils bleed off, and can be easily restored to shiny later.  Unllike "finished" wood, they won't get slippery.

The first pix above are my poly ivorys from Boones, the second pix are the real ivories from Boones, the third pix are the liberty eagle from Buffalo Bros, they were about $75 and very easy to fit my own self.
You pretty much can go with any grip that says clone or 2nd generation Colt. And they amost all have to have some fitting. If you are interested in some really nice poly ivory grips you can get them for about $38 at Boone traders (boonetrading.com) they also have excellent REAL elephant ivory for under $400.
