I got the opportunity to see a bit of the Convention on Saturday.

Nice venue - plenty of dealers and plenty of light.

I got the chance to visit with and shake the hands of a few folks before I had to give my seminar - and it was nice to be able to do so.

Everyone looked good but the ladies all looked great.
If a boardwalk and false front were added - it'd invite illustration...

The folks who put this together certainly deserve your thanks and I strongly recommend you mark it on your calendar for next year.

The highlight fer me was to get to meet the pards on CAS City and TFS.

The seminars were good. The banquet was good. The vendors were good.

I am looking forward to next year's, but hope to see some of ya pards in the meantime.

Annie Lee, it is to my regret that I didn't get a chance to meet you at the convention. I sure am sorry.

I was so busy having fun that I just didn't get everything done I planned to.

Will (and any one else is missed) I wasn't able to come up till Sunday, but is was a lot of fun. Met a bunch of folks I've been wantin' ta meet, missed a bunch I wish I could have met.

I did meet a man who looked a lot like Mr. Ketchum, whose kiss to my hand brought a schoolgirl's blush to my face. I'm not sure if he was a Pinkerton, but he was nice to me.

Sorry Wy but your wrong. Grizz had challenged me to show up at the convention disguised as a bum.
I made it a drunken bum.

No one at the convention has ever seen me drunk for real.

I can still hold my liqueur pretty well and don't like being impaired to any great extent.

I got the chance to meet - all too briefly - Annie Lee, Silver Creek Slim, Ol' Gabe, I. Will Ketchum, Irish Dave, French Jack and of course - you, Ottawa Creek Bill...
And there were others who's handles aren't immediately to mind.

Had I not given the last seminar of the day and were I able to get to the Convention earlier - by the time we would've all been done visiting - our throats would've been too dry to talk.
But then - there's a lubricant for that...

Next year - it'll be different.
I'm thinking of a display - in lieu of a seminar - per se.

The only fly in the ointment was the reason you were able to be there: but we're glad you could make it, in spite of the funeral.

Steel Horse Bailey, thank you for taking Will under your wing for the Buffalo Bill seminar, so I could spend time (and money!) with Linda and the ladies at the Fort. He hadn't been feeling well all day, but he told me he enjoyed it. Thanks!
