I posted this on another site, but didn't manage to get any info, so I'll try again:

A gunshop I frequent has two of these, not sequentially numbered (1x number between). They are nickle plated and the cylinders and ejector tube, etc are gold plated. The grips are mother of pearl it looks like. They look a bit flash, but are beautiful in the hand. He wants $AU1700 for the pair of them, which seems cheap for two Colts, even if they are 22s.

One is unturned and the other one has the slightest drag mark on the cyllinder (barely noticeable)

Is this a good price?

As they are not sequentially numbered, I was thinking of getting them and keeping the one with the drag mark and selling the unturned one.

Has anyone struck these before?
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!
