I wish, here is mine...lol
Its the ole Association of Chiefs of Police case that I just refinished. Still needs more but its good enough for a range box!
When I re stained it you can just see where the emblem was. I think the stain lifted the areas around it. Needs to be sanded again. I also had to modify the dividers to accept the 58. The cap pocket is now too small so I put the caps where the balls usually go. Time to move on to the next project....the wife's kitchen!

That's real nice  :)  such projects are real satisfying, . . . wife's kitchen ? . . . . maybe not quite as much fun, . . . but ya gotta keep the cook hapy . . . .  :)

If you are refering to mine...I have no idea. Thats the way they were when I got them. I do like then though and want to do my 44-40 Cattleman the same way!

I took a look at that auction also. It appears that the pistol has been refinished. I would guess that it was restocked also. The guy selling it probably just assumed the stocks were walnut. They kinda look like Maple? to me.

The front sight is not orig and the Presentation case is a bit small. Someone's project from some time back ???
