Thank ya Cousin Dan!  I used to blow off a lot of homemade fireworks on the 4th of July but don't dare anymore since 9/11 - In nearby Detroit the cops used to hide under the bridges while the denizens all tested out their firearms, nowadays every night is July 4th...  ::)

The 4th of July always gives me pause to think about my own heritage.

One of my ancestors was in the British army. When they got booted back to Britain, their wasn't anything like superannuation for returned soldiers. Being poor, he turned to crime and was arrested for highway robbery. He was deported and sent to Australia in the First Fleet.

So, due to the fact that America and friends won the American Revolutionary War, I'm an Australian, not an American.

I hope you all have a great day!
