I have been  working up at the Founder's Ranch at End Of Trail.  Just got back last evening.  Great EOT, by the way!

Stopped in and visited with the boys at Cimarron Arms, and asked about the possibility of a 1876 SRC from Uberti.  I was told, it is in the works! 

Also, Mike H is working with Uberti to bring a Merwin and Hulbert open top Army model to lighten our wallets further!

I've expressed my desire for the M-H to be available in .44 Russian  ....hope that comes true as I believe it is ideal for that weapon.

While we're dreaming.... I'd like to see somebody come out with the old Large framed colt lightning rifle in those big old calibers the old ones were made in.

I'm glad to hear that they are finally doing the 1876 in a carbine.  Did they give you an idea of calibers that may be available?  I'd really like to have a .50 Express.  By the way Grizzly, when we were at the Winchester show in Cody a couple of weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to pick up an early 1875 model Winchester spoon handle reloading tool marked WINCHESTER EXPRESS.  It's in great condition and still retains some of it's original gold paint.  I never thought I'd ever find one.

I didn't ask, but suspect they will follow their old lead and bring in the 45-75 first.
