Ace: I experimented a bit. If you get the petal stamp to just kiss the outer edge of the middle flower stamp, and have the petal stamp just miss each other, it comes out right. I used 2 different dyes, going for the used look. It is not exactly what I had planned but it will work for now. I had some other design in mind but I have a shoot coming up and just didn't have the time to devote to it, so I went with the flower design.

Yes, I did. As you let the cloth with the stain dry out you get more and more  dark stuff, whatever it is, staying on the leather. Just stop when you get to where you like it. But if you are going to wet mould the holster some if it will runoff unless you seal it real well and let it dry for a few days.

Nice lookin rosette. Nicely aged holster. Besides, those slim jim holsters cut a nice profile.
