I shoot a '66 'n' it chucks the brass up on me hat - it also NEVER jams.

Ya know, 99% of the jam-ups I see on the line are fish rifles!

Most folks thet shoot fish rifles hafta carry ah scroodriver to tha line wif em to clear jams.

For this left handed woman, that side eject shoots the casing right across my field of view. I still like my fish rifle, though, it's been steady and dependable with no jams. It's not stopping me from getting a '73, though...

Well I'd put my fish gun against any 66, 73, or 92 any day for reliability.  Fired over 10,000 rounds through my rifles this past year, had 1 jam....on my 73.  I like both my 73 and my fish gun but if I had ta chose just one, it would have to be the fish gun.  OBTW - Tensleep -  was that a fish gun that jammed up so bad that you had to have Rooster take it to get it appart?  As far as the fish gun being a womans gun......anybody that wants to call a man packin 2 six shooters, a fish gun and a 12ga SXS, a sissy is either really stupid or just has a death wish. :)

Hold on there a minute,  What ya picking on cuz Arcey for?  I picked up one of dem fishes, a 1889, and shot it in the WASA Charity match this year.  It handled real well and was a pleasure to shoot.  I didn't see nothing wrong with it.

Shoot with what you shoot best with and have good, clean, safe fun.  Tender areas.... the girls are usually well covered during a shoot.  The only time I have ever had a problem with the fish gun is when I short stroked it.  Ain't the gun's fault - just operator error.  I can't shoot that other thing the Marshal uses - too big for me.  I'm going for my comfort!

Doan pay no attention to Sleep.  Talk about Wimin's rifle, you ever see that thang he shoots?  Boolit ain't much bigger than a BB.  Man as big as he is out be ashamed to shoot a boolit as small as he does.
