 The importer of Remington here downunder said that they can not get any spare parts for the 788 has Remington does not make them any more.

 But they do not have any in stock and Remington have not made them for that model rifle for many years.
I was hoping to buy a second hand one from a shooter that does not use it anymore.

I have registered in our dealers name with Gunbokers and put a bid in on one, we will see what happens.

It is hard to get any gun parts out of the US with the way our customs works down here. I live in hope

Thanks to every one for there offer of help trying to find a magazine,I have found a new one in a gunshop in a place called Tamworth which is about a 4.30 hour drive from where I live and for an extra $6.00 Aust they have posted down to me.
