Morning ya'll.

I was dissapointed in the gunshow yesterday - just not the deals I used to find south of I-10 in Florida,Louisiana, and Texas.

I did come close to getting a 1897 but guy wanted too much and did not like dealing with a C&R - even showed him in the book where it said gun was C&R.

I want one for wild bunch - my great grand daddy's 16 guage 97 has so much family history - I only shoot it sparingly.

Oh well, will wait  - maybe Rooster will have some at next shoot for sale.

Mornin' Fellas,

Thanks for the coffee.

It's foggy here, hopefully will burn off shortly. I will be headed out to my friends new place. She is a city dweller who has been relocated to the country. So far she loves it. Her fiance' used ta be a workin cowboy, now he only does it part time but would like to make it full time again. She has told me I'm gonna have to teach her how to ride horses. I think I can handle that just fine.  ;D

Buck hope yer feelin' better real soon.

Congrats and Happy anniversary L.I.T.

Everybody have a great day!

Had some folks in here a bit ago from about 300 miles west of here, got some good news and bad news.

The good news, it is now safe for me to go to Keith County Newbrassky, Sherriff Earl Scank (yes his real name) has retired after 30 some years as Sherriff.  I can now go to Ogalla if I want since the new Sherriff has not seen my runnin' iron/lid lifter.

Sadly though they report my friend Earl's health is not good, he's in his 70's and a good man, I need to try to get out that way and see if I can look him up and have coffee with him again, he has drank a few cups with me in years past at the S?tate Fair, even if I did, use my runnin' iron to lift up the pot. ::)

Tell her it's easy, just always remember to keep the horse between her and the ground! Oh and always ride on top of the horse!  ;D ;D

Hope you feel better Buck!

Yes Del she has put up with me for that long, somebody has to muck the stalls!  ;D
