They're moving here, too. Had a pair across the street Tuesday night when I took the garbage out to the curb. We saw two at our one client's house the same day, one was a good sized doe, the other was a spike buck that looked terribly confused. Second time we've seen him this year.
got my swaybar link installed today, finally. The mechanic took a torch to the head to get it out. Had the truck back in an hour and a half. Ran me $15 ;D
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

when we first moved here to Arkansas, we could take 6 per year but the last few years they've cut it back to 2 Bucks and a doe in some zones

Slim, our deer season here (Chesterfield Co, VA)
starts Nov 17 and runs through Jan 5, 2008
Bow season and muzzle loader started October 6 and Nov 10 respectivly.

We are allowed 2 per day and six per season, 3 antlered, 3 antlerless...

wanna come hunt?  ;)
The DNR should do that here. I have to shoot an antlerless before I can shoot an antlered one. It was that way last year too. Guess what I saw at dawn opening morning? Two bucks.  ::)

Slim
nope just shooooooed him off,  they've been getting several good ones this year, so I'll just take a chance  :D

that's the kind where ya count every point over an inch long. ???
The eastern count is what you said. As fer as I know there are two western counts. One is counting the points on one half of the rack, so that buck would be a 4 point. The other is counting each half separate and putting "by" between the number such as "4 by 4".

'Tis 20 and clear. Feeling like Winter.

You had it all wrong.  You take off when he is there and stay around when he's not.  That gives you more time out of his line if fire, see?

Yeah, I was thinking that about his claws too.  I sure would hate to be on the receiving end of one of his swipes! :o

Just think, if that would have been a little care he would have swatted it right off the road. ;D

Our rifle deer permits you put in for first draw in April, only those who didn''t have one last year.  The rest are for grabs for Nebraskans in May after that for anybody.  My area, either sex on that.  If Rita hadn't got sick on me I'd got a Season choice, antlers less than 6 inches, Just availible in the problem areas.  Good for bow, rifle, muzzle loader or late season rifle, just some areas, permits unlimited, can buy them on the net, could shoot a hundred if I bought the permits and could shoot that many in 9 days.   ;D

Thanks for the cawfee Sleep.

Sorry I ain't been around.  Been in and out of work with days off and kids with half days and days off.  Plus mom was in the hospital for tests and has more today as they don't like her EKG results.  I have next week off so I'll say Happy Thanksgiving now as I'm not sure how much I'll log on next week.

I'm catching up below.

Shotgun loveShe sure does have big barrels:]

Gotta love shotguns.

Another way for me to kill time at werk.  Thanks Trinity.

Well here it is, I forgot how bloated I still was from being sick that year, this was in 2005 at the GAF muster.
I hate seeing pics of myself too.

i was sick in bed with sinuses yesterday Slim, this morning I logged on and saw that pictures of Del in tha sailor hat and couldn't think of a thing to say!  ;D
Cuz Tom with nothin' to say and I missed it. >:( ;)  Hope your feeling better by now.

kinda feel really crappy tonight, hope this ain't blossoming into something worse( bronchitis, or the p-word)...........Buck 8) ::)
Hope your feeling better Buck.

Whiskey!  Drink plenty of whiskey, it's a good cure-all. ;D
The problem is not matter how hard I try I just can't get to liking whiskey.  Believe me I've tried.

well I do have some Captain Morgan,  and since he was a sea going man,  probably knock that stuffiness outa yer head ;D
That's more to my liking.  Setting sail, yet never leaving dry land. ;D

ya gotta watch drinking anything that's colored blue,  don't sound too safe. :o
Sure glad my Bombay Saphire (my drink of choice) only comes in a blue bottle.  The Gin itself is crystal clear. ;D

Cashier it the store wuz sick as a dog t’other day.  She’d had a flu shot.

Did one flu shot myself. It werked, I got it.  Ain’t had one since.

Hehehehehehehe.....
I warned me bride about that.  The same thing happened to my friend Brandon which is why I refuse to get the shot.  Well Chrissie went ahead and got the shot.  It worked, she was sick for the next three days. ::)

when it's flu season we just tend to stay away from people,  dang germs
I just stay away from people period.  Tain't got nothing to do with germs or flu season. ;) :D ;D

foind a new toy

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7641632886542793867    ;D
I want one.

Whew! That took a while.  All caught up now. ;D

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!

I'd a hated to run into that bear, you know it'd tear up something  ;D

here's an article about Arkansas Turkeys,  the fella in the article lives down south, across the river from us,  there's also a video along with the article, I haven't been able to get it to load for me, but it should show a little more about the farms and birds.
