I did a little reloading and got Cardinal's shotgun fixed - light primer strikes.

Biakal just needed a little LCR tlc and it was good to go.

Hoping to go shooting next weekend with her and get ready for State competition.

Picked up a walker as partial payment. Got a few booger marks but appears unfired. I need to change that status :) to fired at least once.

I like my colt style handguns

Match last weekend was a washout but it looks like this coming weekend will be filled with much Smoke, Fire, BOOOM and Stink.  I may bring one of the new muzzleloaders to test out.

10 gauge shotshells and good weather tomorrow.

Now I gotta shoot!

Cardinal is going off to Girl Scout camp so alas I will be shooting without my trusty buddy.

I shot the Walkers on one stage at the West Point match on Sunday.  I was surprised how light the recoil was with 50gr loads.  I did have some problems:
a) they are STIFF - then need to be broken in.
b) caps falling inside it & jamming the cylinder from rotating.
c) I was very slow shooting these.

No, I have to be out of town.  :(

Are you coming to the VA State SASS Championship the following weekend (Labor Day weekend)??

After checking Google maps I will not be going to the State match this year, as it's 4 hours each way for me.  I forgot how far it was from my current location  :o

Naw...they fit into the rig that Flatboat made for me to hold my 1860s.  I was surprised.   :o :o :o

It is about 5 hrs for me.  Just spend a few nights in the hotel or camp out at the range.  Lots of competitors are camping there.
