Operation Headrest Needs Help

Here's the jist of it.

                                OPERATION HEADREST
              Let's not forget their sacrifice once they are home.

Our goal is to have a patriotic handmade or decorated pillowcase for as many
single service members as possible to lay their head on when they return from
deployment.

It's this simply, make or buy a standard sized pillowcase, decorate it in a way
that pays tribute to them as Heroes, Soldiers and Americans.  Please include
a short note to the service member thannking them for their service.  Don't
forget to include your name and where you're from so they will know they are
thought of across the United States.  This is our opportunity to remind each
of them that they are truly appreciated for their dedication and service.

My wife knows this woman and this project was originally to supply the single men in her own husband's Hawai'i based medical unit and was started only a couple of weeks ago.  She has fulfilled her original goal, but started getting requests from across the mainland US for more pillowcases.  The requests number in the thousands and she's desparate for help.  Btw, when she was working on her goal, she wiped out our local Walmart and Kmart of pillowcases.
