Leo!

You gottah be kiddin' me..... You ain't sing dat song when you was little?

What ah GREAT Tune..... Wonder did they Beep it out on TV.... they didn't.

Ya couldn't have Lucy and Desi sleep in the same Bed, but Chuck could sing his song.....

I wasn't that little when that came out, was in HS.  Luzzy and Dezzy were 'bout 15 years earlier, even Archie and Edith slept in the same bed and Archie worried about what the Meathead was doin' to his daugher up-stairs. ::)

Re-Runs?

They started in the Apartment, then they moved to the Country, fergit how Fred n Ethel ended up out there. Then after Ricki disappeared? She was ah secretary er sumpin' and the kids was on da show. I think it was like three different shows just her as the central character in all ah em'.  ;)

Most nights at most drive-in theaters:

Drive-In's, that's sumpin' ya don't see anymore.

The last one anywhere around here got hit by lighting and burned up the screen. Then it just shut down. Happened more that once. Business just wasn't that good.

We had two way back when. One is ah Nursing Home and the other is just sitting. Waiting for the next thing to come along.

Found ah site about em'. Hasn't been updated in ah while I'll bet. It still shows the one near me as Open. It's been closed fer ah couple ah years now.

Last I knew the one in Council Bluffs Iowa is still there, 'bout an hour, we talk about going, just don't seem to get it done.  Be more fun if I still had my old 49 Chev with the bench seats, them spit buckets in Rita's car are just wrong for that, could take my pick-up but she hates it. ::)

all the ones around Muskogee closed back in the 80's,  we had 5 of em for years.  one I used to go up to Tulsa had a twin screen, back to back screens,  I've read where it's still open, the only one left around Tulsa.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else

They mostly use them places fer swap meets now.  There was one in Rosedale Kansas that went ta a digital broadcast that ya could hear over an FM car radio.  Place is prolly still goin.  Goin ta Rosedale is like ridin a time machine.

Last one we went to in the 80's was the radio thing.  The West O, not far from my house.  Was the last one in Lincoln, open till 93 when the Derecho that came through took out the screen.
