My friend the now retired Sherriff of Keith County (Ogalla) was sherriff for a long time, stories I've heard about him he was a pistol.  One of his friends tell me back in the early 70's he was at some resteraunt  along I-80, some bikers guys came in and were calling him Pig.  He let it slide for then, guess he got a call and left in a hurry.  On the way out he noticed the guys had not parked proper where they was 'spossed to and bein' in a hurry to make the call he sorta bumped one with his bumper and dominoed the whole bunch.

Heard they tried to sue, but got no where, danged cowboy court don't take well to outsiders messin' with the law and bein' in the way when offical duty calls.

Got a County Att. out that way in a county i-80 runs through, helped build him a "Scare the City Slicker Lawyer outfit"  Frock coat, vest, tall tops boots, a CAS band-quit type outfit, complete with a Colt Clone in a Huckleberry rig.

Some folks that get in trouble try to bring in their lawyer from the city.

     When I met Lil she was convinced that a lot of them was genuine friends.  Had ta splain ta her that they was only after one thing.  Time went by and the truth came out.  They don't like me much anymore an that's OK.

The devil went down to Georgia, he was looking for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind: he was willin' to make a deal.
When he came across this young man sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot.
And the devil jumped upon a hickory stump and said: "Boy let me tell you what:
"I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too.
"And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
