OK. A simple exercise.  A hat, boots, pants, a shirt, a pair of suspenders and a vest for the men.  A pair of boots, a skirt and blouse or dress, and a hat/bonnet for the women.  Your budget is $150.00 cash.  Can you do it? How?  HAVE FUN!  (sewing your own is OK)

My shooting partner's done it many times. he shops the resale shops and Goodwill. pants and shirts and vests for three to four dollars apiece. The pants, just remove the belt loops and add buttons for suspenders. Suspenders available from some vendors for $15. i've seen suitable hats for under $40. Sportsman's Guide has had the East German uniform boots for around $20 or so off and on for years. So, let's see, pants-$3.00, shirt-$3.00, vest-$3.00, suspenders-$15, hat-$35, boots-$20. So, I total out here at about $79 plus some for the Gov.'s due. still below the $150 limit! How's that for a start, Sir William..............Buck 8) ::) :o ;D ;D
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Had a beginer one time was tryin' to get by a cheap as possible, but wanted a period outfit to shoot NCOWS in, whe was doin' a drastic weight loss program and did not want to spend more than was needed till he got to where he wanted to be.  After about 15-20 minutes I had a personna built and added a palm leaf hat to what he had at home already.  Total cost was under $20 and we had a well armed sodbuster.
