That's a big horse, Tom.

Slim

He's only 16.1 hands Slim, he's actually kinda small for a Draft cross, but he is just right for me!  My grandaughter prefers to ride on Elizabeth's horse, he is 15.2 hands and isn't quite as round as my boy.

we've got a neighbor that used to have a draft horse, he used him for pulling logs up the mountains,  he was a little over 6 ft at the withers,  I rode him once, sure was a long way to the ground.

So they rolled a gasoline tanker over on the approach to the Bay Bridge this morning. Took out the overpass above it by melting the steel in it. It's the most widely used bridge in the San Francisco area. anyone commuting from one side of the bay to the other uses it. Or at least the DID use it. That'll mess up the commute up there for a while. Like it wasn't bad enough to just be part of that. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/29/highway.collapse.ap/index.html?eref=rss_us

I have all my guns, ammunition and holsters ready for the 5-Dogs match next week. I'll get the motorhome loaded Wed and blow out of here on Thu. My wife has a dog thing to go to so she won't be going this time. Of course, I have a dog thing to go to also. 5 of them. ;D All that's left to get ready is everything else. :D

thanks fer the coffee

looks like another sunny day here,  gotta let the birds outa the rings today, always glad to do that, makes it a little easier about checking em.

looks like the weather man is calling for a chance of rain about all this week.  It's been a little dryer than usual so I guess we need all we can get.

Great pic, LR. That photo in B&W would look like it could have been taken 125 years ago. Thanks for sharing it.
You saying that LR is 125 years old?  ;D ;)

Had to leave werk all of a sudden.  My wee one has a belly that don't want to keep food in it.
