Wild Rose rig, shotgun belt, and cuffs
« on: March 14, 2007, 01:51:30 PM »
Hi all, I worked with Chuck to get a full rig representative of the 1880's and the Indian Territory. I agreed the holsters should look like a cowpoke picked them up along the way (not necessarily matching).
I love them with their color (and although you can't feel it) texture. The carving is just what I wanted also. When the cuffs came available, I figured that would make the set up complete.
Here's a couple photo's. Enjoy folks.

All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple

That rig really appeals to me. I used to shoot with a totally mismatched rig for more authenticity. Yours really work nicely without being too contrasting. Congrats, pard. Nice work, Chuck.

WOW Doc, dawnt get no better than that pard,, UUhhh,, wellll just maybe mind you, a geat big ole Bowie stlye knife in just the right sheath.   It's just that last little touch and it gives you a place to hang them bags-o-gold while shooting it out with the posse!!  As to the texture, the pictures is so good that I can almost feel it fer myself.

Bob, I was thinking of using this knife and sheath as part of my Indian Territory rig. :)
