If I were a script writer for Gunsmoke
« on: March 11, 2007, 06:53:22 PM »
OK, it is Saturday night and it is almost 10 PM Central Time, the main street of Dodge have cleared, the bad guy and Matt are the only ones on the street.  Matt is tryin' to talk him into giving himself up, but he won't.  Suddenly the bad guy slaps leather and shoots and misses Matt.  Drawing his six-shooter Matt hits the guy dead center.  Our bad guy drops his gun and falls in the street and luckly does not land in horse poop, but there was no horse poop on Gunsmoke. ::)

Doc goes over to him with his black bag, opens it and gets out his stethascope and listens, he shakes his head as he always always did.  Someone runs up the street and soon, wearin' a frock coat and a top hat, comes the sad lookin' undertaker, carrying a body bag? ::)

Well, they're easier to carry when they're empty. I wonder if they were less expensive than a pine box.

I wonder about the gasses that are given off by the body as it decomposes.  If that rubber sack is as air tight as it claims, it could expand a bit....
