Bandolier belts
« on: February 21, 2007, 05:17:56 PM »
I want to make bandolier belts for my son-in-law. I have not been able to find any good pictures of them. Can anyone hear tell me where I can find a good picture or have one they can email me?

thanks,

I have one of these:

I haven't used it much, but it really does the job when a whole lot of shotgun rounds are required. Note the angle of the sewn ends. they look to be maybe ±110° to each other. You can experiment with that by putting an awl through both pieces at the tip and rotating them until you get it the way you want, then trimming the ends to match the opposite piece.

here's a pair - shotgun, double pistol, and rifle down the back.......

another one - this one was built for carrying a knife but shows some of the details including the buckle on the back and the strap to attach to a waist belt.......

and a combo for knife sheath and pistol cartridges

hope this helps.........
