I was in the magazine section at Walmart yesterday and browsed through the January issue of "Cowboys & Indians". There was an article about Val Kilmer who plays Inish Scull along with some pictures of him from the movie. We also get to see what Gus and Woodrow will look like along with
Blue Duck and some of the women characters.

Comanche Moon, a six-hour mini-series, is based on the novel by Larry McMurtry in the “Lonesome Dove” series. The story follows Texas Rangers Augustus McCrae (Steven Zahn) and Woorow F. Call (Karl Urban) as they deal with the tensions of adult life.

Wow, can't wait to see it.Just saw Lonesome Dove this week on DVD.Amazing.

Well, dang.

If it is going to be on in February, I guess we're going to have to wait till 2008.  I hope they still plan on releasing it this year. :o

I listened to Comanche Moon as an unabridged book on tape, and I gotta say I'm not sure I'll watch the series/movie/whatever. Very dark and grusome...

I heard that it would be out later this year.  My friend Buck Taylor is supposed to be in the cast. I will check with him to see if he knows when it will be released.
