Just a bit of info

Friends here at NCOWS Cas City,
  Many of you know that I have taken care of the medical needs of an (Old Maid) Aunt for the past several years. This morning she passed away @ 1:10.
  She was diagnoised with stomach cancer lst Friday.
She had attained the age of 83 + grand years.
We will miss her.

Very sorry to here that.  My mother died at the age of 75 from cancer in the 90's.

83 is still young to me.  Both my in-laws are over that and thankfully without major problems.

My mom went too quickly, but it was her older sister that we cared for until she passed at age 81.
I understand the emotional roller coaster ride, going from having your life scheduled around caring for a failing loved one and the void after their passing.
I am sorry for your loss, Kayleen.

But I also know that receiving the special care and attention from her own kin meant the world to my aunt. She did not want strangers caring for her.
As I'm sure your care for your aunt was a comfort beyond words.

Kayleen, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.  I recall one minister reminding us that life here is just temporary, and we should rejoice for those that have completed it.  I know that doesn't negate the loss and grief, but with faith and hope and family and friendly support, it becomes bearable.

  Kayleen, I know the pain involed with a love one passing on. My Mother was 85 when she left us, and my Mother-in-Law passed away this past Aug. She was 86.
