This weekend is total relaxation and hedonism.

Sitting in the cottage on the farm with a couple of mates.

A few dozen bottles of beer

two litres of dark Rum

and a dozen cowboy movies on dvd.

Hey Dai.

Ain't life great  ;D

Looks like Rain and More Rain on the weekend, but we have a workday at the Badlands Bar 3, to start getting ready for our annual match in October.  Hope all has a good weekend.

Hey Dai.

Ain't life great  ;D

Dakota  8)

Didnt work out the wayu things were planned.

Spent Friday evening in Auckland Hospital emergency dept.

Victim of a "hit and run".

Damm car thought he had more right to the space on the motorway that me and my bike were using.

Swerved into the gap, slammed on the brakes, I swerved to avoid him/her clipped the back left side of the car and slid down the road.

It was wet, cold, dark and rush hour so all i could see were the lights of the other vehicles bearing down on me.

Broken collarbone, bruising and such.

Bike has a cracked crankcase cover, broken clutch and a lot of scars.

Did have the mates around Saturday, we did watch the movies, we did drink the beer and rum as well as a bottle of mescal each. What a damm good pain killer.

Off work for a week or so. repairing the bike as it is my only transport.

Costing me about $1000NZ to fix the bike plus new helmet, gloves, jacket, over trousers and boots (all worn through by the tarmac).

Gotta go back to the hospital tonight as my closest cousin (Michael Moodie) at the age of 56 has been given 5-10 days left on this earth. The big C. I'm off to say goodbye and thank him for being my cuz.

Other than all the above, yes I do agree. ISNT LIFE GREAT

I may transport some dogs going from shelters to rescue homes on Saturday.  Gotta mow too.

Next week I may transport a dog from momma to my home.  I'm not getting excited about that until I have the dog in the car on the way here though.

Bike has been fixed, I'm on the mend. Physio again today.

This last accident was completely unavoidable by me this time.

Hit and run.

Apparently I take up space on the motorway that some car driver thought he had more right to.

I upheld the laws of physics and didnt occupy the same space as another body of matter.

Anyway this coming weekend i am off to Kaikohe (200 km north) for a small two day club shoot.

Not on the bike but with a friend in his van.

Gotta go and load some rounds or I wil not be shooting. Enen one handed as I seem destined tro do.
