This might be a repeat... but it the first I heard of it.
On last night 8 PM to 10 PM.

Covers many of the legionary famous or infamous trick shots, then challenged today's exhibition shooter to try and duplicate them.

History Channel will run it again I'm sure...

No, last night's was the first showing of it.

Incidentally, one of the "Western Historians" interviewed on the program was CAS City's own Tame Bill.  Although they didn't call him Tame Bill; he went by some sort of alias.  Must be in hiding from the law or his creditors again...  ;)  You may recall that TB was on the CAS-L Historical Society forum a few months back asking about documented cases of splitting a bullet on an axe.  On the show, he discussed the reliability challenges of cap-and-ball revolvers and the use of a brace of pistols by Hickok, for example.

Do you reckon he'll be charging for his autograph now that he's famous?  ;D

I really enjoyed seeing the footage of Ad and Plinky Topperwein and Herb Parsons, neither of which I'd seen before. The show also featured some footage of Ed McGivern, which I have seen previously but is still nonetheless amazing.

p.s.  to Tame Bill:  you have about 11 minutes of fame remaining....

I found the show quite entertaining. Some excellent demostrations were given. The appearance of good ol Chiz, our SASS marketing director should make us proud. I didn't notice a NCOWS marketing director there, oh wait, NCOWS isn't into marketing. How fortunate you are.
I play cards with J.D. Shellnut....chief of Police...SO get off my a**!!!!!!!!!!
