Recently I bought the 1939 version of "Jesse James" starring Tyrone Power as Jesse and Henry Fonda as Frank.
Randolph Scott was also in it. For an old Hollywood movie I thought it was pretty good. It was certainly easier to watch than the 2008 version.

Bought a movie yesterday called "The Great Northfield Minnesota Raid"  It stars Cliff Robertson as Cole Younger and co-stars Robert Duvall as Jesse James. I sure ain't a movie critic but this one is terrible IMHO. It was actually silly. Has anyone else seen it?
