Been readin' all these posts and thought I'd throw in my  dos centavos. Heard that we here in Carthage got the worst of the weather late last week and I believe it.  At our house we ended up with 14" of snow on top of  3" of sleet/ice on top of 2.5" of rain that started it all out.  Wife and I  spent 3 1/2 hours shoveling out our parking area and drive with no ill effects except fatigue.  Sure wish she would be as accomodating when I ask her to cut and split firewood. All she does is look at me cross-eyed and remind me that our fireplace is gas. What in the world does that have to do with it?
