It was a pleasure to shoot with Major Matt. Especially with his "unique" way of calling out the names for the upcoming shooters. I had a bug under my skin Sunday morning and was a bit on the grumpy side. It caused me to have some misses and on one occasion even took my wifes 20 gauge Stoeger up to the line instead of my 12 gauge Rossi. Didn't realize what I did until I discovered that the shells wouldn't go in no matter how hard I pushed.
Somehow, I still managed to win 3rd place for Blackpowder Duelist. It's my second time shooting this class and my first win at a major match. I guess maybe I'm a little more competitive than I thought.
Hey Arcey, the only disadvantage of shooting working cowboy is if you choose to shoot BP, you're shooting against smokeless shooters in the same class. If you're just shooting for the fun of it, then no big deal.
