Clothing question.

Howdy to the forum!

What year did the blue pullover fatigue shirt come into use? and would this shirt be correct for an earlier civilian impression?

This link shows some as early as 1874 but the Army was useing grey then. The Blue pull over your refering to I believe is the 1883 Shirt or you can call it a 1875 Experimental  Shirt.....

Well, if ya wanna split hairs. Some of the contracted issue shirts during the Civil War were blue...and gray and tan and white and red and, and, and. ;D

Do a google search on Fall Creek Sutlers.  They have officer and enlisted.

I made mine from deer hide with sail cloth in the cuffs,.....They are not Military but I'm sure some were not....
