You are sadly mistaken, the only photo on my website is of me, I know, I was there when the photo was taken.

It's too bad. A simple "OOPS!" and a "I'll take it down if you object" would have been a more desirable response (even if done privately). To act like it never happened is not a good way to introduce one's self or a new product as we now have the issue of credibility. Nueces, please save that cached pic for me. It is a reversed image of my personal screen saver.

WOW

Really looks like the proverbial "OH Sh#$" moment.............
First a new gal? registers and points us to a review of a new product (no harm really).
Then Hellgate gets to be famous (for ten minutes).
Then somebody takes credit for the publicity, twice (good or bad).

It's all OK folks, this isn't the SASS wire (and if yer Six Gun Shortly you'd get away with it anyways) ;D

Guys I think it is a little early for that.

It may not look good but then again mistakes are made

The Navy based an add campaign for recruiting on a Coast Guard picture - they mispent millions of dollars but it was an oops not some conspiracy.

If the author of the email has a confederate uniform and similar firing irons it it hard to say from a picture showing only someones backside, neck and lower skull that it is anyone in particular.

I am not calling anyone out - I just think we need to slow down a bit and see what is really what - before we make any accusations.

In my line of work a false accusations can be just as punishable as people getting in trouble for actually doing something.

Just my two cents

Wow!  Hey Sally, Thank You for getting this thread started and thank the rest of you for keeping it going! I honestly don't see what all the hub bub is about but if it pleases you folks to continue your mean spirited attacks, it's more a reflection of yourselves then anything else.  Merry Christmas Everyone! And remember, Jesus is the reason for the season!

6Gun nothing mean intended - just trying to get people to slow down a bit.

HH - The word conspiracy was used in the example I gave only - and yes there were those who thought the mistake in the add campaign mentioned was done on purpose.

NG - I know nothing about any other issue - just the picture being discussed - not sure of the SideSaddleSally reference.

My post was that the "wire" in general seems to get "hot" way too quick and we attack each other way too quickly.

Again my two cents.

I was making the same references as you in our first posts.
It did seem as though you had grouped me in the "Conspiracy".
Then all I did was try to make sure I wasn't.
Then that seemed to have been viewed as a conspiracy :P

Like I said, This ain't the SASS Wire.
Nothing wrong was done.
Hell even Hellgate thought it was cool that he got 10 minutes of fame :D

HH roger that - this is not the other wire but people still get a little spun too quick.

I did not mean to put anyone into a "conspiracy" box - used that example as something that very quickly got spun out of control.

I am glad that people got their moments of fame - a little "PR" never hurt - well most - and pun not intended!

Mr Grande,
Once I get your email address I'll send them in jpeg form. The first one is the one copied in reverse and cropped by Mr 6gun4fun/Shotgun Eddy. Note the RO's clothing, hat color etc. On the second pic taken right after I finished the stage is me grinnin' from ear to ear and the RO wearing a gas mask for the smoke and to make fun. Note the brushy background. The RO's name is Ten Beers, his grand daughter is Desert Brat up in Washington state where the photos were taken at the Standoff at Smokey Point a couple of years ago.

NG - i believe this matter has been settled by a seperate post.

You are reading things into my comments that are simply not there.

Hellgate - you have an official apology on another post - I believe it is time we all move on.
