Hmm, maybe I should invent "Texas screws".
The smooth part would be shaped like a (Lone) Star, which would be easier to both tighten and loosen.

I would be some remiss were I knot to enquire - You have measured the chambers in the Hammered Stevens and the Antique Belgian Hammered Double?? I would be inclined to suspect both have Two and a Half inch chambers which do not necessarily act harmoniously with more common Two and Three Quarter ammunition. In which case I would suspect also you are shootin Two and a Half Inch Roll Crimp fodder?? I hope
