I wish I hadn't seen that elvis thing.  He sucked bad enough when he was him.  Watchin someone else impersonate him sucks even worse.

All good tunes Sod, but this one is a little easier on the eyes...

Leo, I've never seen "bumpin' and grindin" to bluegrass. Unique concept?

All I did was name it ‘n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

I enjoy most music and singing with the exception of Opera. Watching large people singing high notes just ain't my thing.

when my son was 6 he showed some interest in the mandaline,  I took him for lessons and he caught on reallly fast and really liked playiin it.

I played the fiddle along with him and his mom played guitar,  we played at the family functions   ;D  mostly all Bluegrass stuff.

he got to get up on the stage and play Mandaline with Bill Monroe at  Joplin Mo. once.   ;D

when he got into Jr. High, he got into the Jazz band at school and played guitar for them for 3 years,  all the while he played with a band there in Muskogee,
first date  I had with Jackie, I took her to see him and his band play.  when I came in with her,  all the band almost fell off the stage,  they had just gotten used to seein me by myself after my second wife had died.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else

Great story OT.

This here shows just how serious Steve Martin is about the banjo.  They tear this one up, it's incredible.

I do have some really good memories of those days,  my son came with me when his mom and I got a divorce, he was 10,  we went through the music,  we raced go carts for 2 years, when he was 11 & 12,  used to go to the professional wrestling matches up at Tulsa in the early 90's ( now that was a show in itself)

he and I did a lot of stuff together,  he still likes to tell stories about it,  I'll meet some of his friends for the first time and they'll ask if we reallyl did all thoses things that Seth talks about.

I'll tell em,  we done em all and had a great time doing it.  It started out as a way to pi$$ his mom off and then I found out it was a lot of fun and so we just done it for that.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else
