Now WHY would you add fuel to the Marshal's ego flame by giving him any more
of an over inflated idea that he can "order" me into Time Out!!
 I mean... I let it go the first time, and didn't comment.. cause.. well.. you know.. him bein' the Marshal and all ..
 and I didn't want to embarass him any in front of his pards ..
BUT..
This is the final straw...
 A CHAIR?? A danged ole'Time Out chair?  And what is this hog wash about a wood shed??!!?

Ohhh it is awful around here~~... And it is all your fault!
Marshal is just strutting around  the house kinda humming and singing this little dumb song about..

I'm sending Marshal'ette to the wood shed and setting in her time out chair.

I do believe that it is time for me to let all you good folks know something..


The Marshal may rule the roost...

Not to steal anyones post but, the Marshal'ette reminded me of somethin' my parents use to say all the time.  My Dad would always say; "I'm the head of this household" and my Mama would say;  "He's right!  But I'm the neck and I will turn that head any direction I want"!

Gerls aren't supposed to sit in that chair, it's made for BOYS!!!

We could use the quiet time.

There's no talking allowed when a person is in the TIME OUT CHAIR.

And to help you, I will happily Fed-Ex you some duct tape.

As the saga of the Time Out Chair continues there seems to be some controversy as to just who will be sitting in it.  Rumor has it that the Marshal shall be occupying the chair, but another rumor says the Marshal's wife will be sitting in it.  There is an air of tension in CAS City on this.  Bets are being made and taken over in the Longbranch Saloon and the money is running high.  As it stands now, the odds on favorite for who will be sitting in the chair is the Marshal.  This reporter has been told that the Marshal's wife is now looking for her attitude adjustment tool...better known as the old rolling pin.  If she finds it there will probably be some knowledge bumps appear on the Marshal's head.  As it stands right now, we don't know who will be sitting in the chair.  Stay tuned to Arapaho Central for further developments on this story.

The deputy asks:  "Marshal...what in tarnation are you doin' with that git-tar?"
The Marshal responds:  "Son...I'm gonna sing me a little song here called the Rollin' Pin Blues!"
"I ain't never heared that song....how does it go?"
"Well, son....I dunno!  I'm jus gonna hafta make it up as I go along."
"Marshal....I think I'll be gittin' over to the Longbranch.  I heared you sing once and Coyotes sounded better!"
"Alright, son...an while yer over there...tell the barkeep ta send me over a bottle of his best Red Eye.  I think I'm gonna need it!"
"Alright, Marshal!"

The deputy leaves and goes across the street to the Longbranch.

And now....from Arapaho Central.........

In the continuing saga of the Time Out Chair it has been discovered that the chair is blue.  This would indicate that it was for boys only.  It's not looking good for the Marshal at this moment.  Over in the Longbranch bets are runnning high that the Marshal will be sitting in the chair, however, bets are still coming in that "Mrs. Marshal" will be sitting there.  This reporter has been told that the Marshal's wife has found her attitude adjustment tool and is now looking for the Marshal.  It's anyone's guess what will happen if and when she finds him.  It was quoted by the Marshal's wife that he rules the roost, but she rules the rooster, so there seems to be a power struggle here and it's anyone's guess who will be victorious in this.
