Well, here we go again.
I called the credit card company today and had them rescind payment in full on two Singer vacuum cleaners with attachments and a steam bottle set we ordred and paid for ten weeks ago. We were told delivery would be four to six weeks.
Nothing.
I e-mailed them four times and kept getting some BS automated reply saying they were really interested in what we had to say and that someone would contact us in person within twenty-four hours.
No contact.
I called their customer service number twice and went though all the number pushing crap only to be told to contact them by e-mail.
See above how that worked.
I have serious doubts about the quality of their product based on my experience with their order department and customer service department.
Hell, I have serious doubts that anyone will even realize we cancelled the order until it someday shows up and I send it back unaccepted.
Is there a business in this country that can justify what I've seen as a product or service from any of them? No wonder everthing is being made overseas. No one here gives a hoot.
Workers want more money, their unions support them, and then they turn out an ever-degrading quality product while bitching about losing jobs offshore.
Management spends tons of money on advertising to tell lies about the product they are pushing while crying about imports stealing their business.
Marketers come up with more and flashier packaging, usually impossible to open without tools, to hide the fact that the quantity/volume/size is shrinking.
Customers complain and are insulted, brushed off, or totally ignored.
And the price keeps right on going up.
