This has just come to mind. Maybe it's just me making a big deal out of nothing but no matter what I think, it still does not look right. During the primary election, why was Donna Kaminska handing out the ballots during voting for the Longton precinct, you know, in District 1? My grandmother and I both think that the reason was so everyone would know to vote Kaminska. Shari received 116 votes, Doug got 76. A difference of 40. At least there was 76 people that did not want her and I'm sure the numbers will grow in light of everything that she is unforthcoming about. Let's keep those skeletons hidden. You do seem to be very stuck on yourself to the point that you can't even take your husbands last name. Myself and grandmother will be changing our votes back to Mr. Ritz. Oh, I've read your facebook and all of the congratulations, really loved the one from "QE", Liz Hendricks. What does QE stand for? Queen Elizabeth? Just wondering.

By the way...Do the math.  Diane and I both pre-date Ross on this Forum.  As far as what Ross has had to say "for years"...Yes, unfortunately, everyone has been made quite aware of his various and sundry opinions.  Ad nauseum.  Ad infinitum.  Good to know where you stand...

By the way, everything I've said still stands. Bullying goes both ways. It's my understanding schools don't put up with bullying but I guess that doesn't matter on a public forum. Way to go, leading by example.

I don't care if you have been on this forum since inception or since last Tuesday. Everyone can go back and read everything and form their OWN opinions about things. I stand where I stand because I think for myself and don't allow others to TELL me WHAT to THINK.

;D  Raven, you need to calm down and realize...I have the same freedom of speech as your beloved Ross.   ;D  Now...Go on your own way and leave me to go mine.  The only ignorance I referred to was your obvious lack of knowledge regarding the years spent being on this Forum.  However...If you want to push the subject, the impression you leave is entirely up to you.  I am not forcing you to say anything.  Remember, you can't regret what you don't say.  Just sayin'.  ;)

EVERYONE has FREEDOM OF SPEECH Teach! I will not go my own way. I will stay right here where I am and no one will tell me otherwise. I am very calm. I am not ignorant. Likewise, I am not forcing you to say anything either. I don't regret anything that I do say or have said. I don't recall ever rallying for Ross, but I can see why people are drawn to him and his common sense. Posts like yours, towards those that agree with people that you don't agree with, are what's wrong with this forum.

There aren't any gold cards on the forum. No poster is better than any other poster. You would do well to remember that.

Raven, I did indeed live there for over a decade.  I not only paid taxes but also donated to a lot of causes that were being pursued at that time.  A large part of my life was there and a great many of my friends still reside there.  I left behind a large part of my heart there, to be blunt.  You are late to this party...And, as such, are not aware of the history surrounding the comments that I made.  Believe me when I say that this Forum used to have an entirely different tone.  A great many former members have fallen away, due to the constant barrage from certain individuals that have risen to prominence.  Your ignorance of that history is why I will not give you any other response than the one I have listed.  If you are one of Ross' devotees, then so be it.  I do not happen to subscribe to his nonsense and never will.
Boy, you really put me in my place, didn't you? How dare you! MY IGNORANCE? I have read this forum for YEARS. One doesn't have to have an account to read what is here. I was a guest. Then I made an account at the beginning of last year. I still just usually sit back and read. My Grandmother reads this forum as a guest with no account. Is she ignorant as well? I know the "history surrounding your comments" quite well. I have read from page one of the Elk Konnected thread. For the most part, I agree with Ross. And although I don't think I've ever met up with him, he makes sense and we'd probably get along. But, I hardly call myself one of his "devotees".

And thank you for making my point that you DON'T live here and don't have to worry about what goes on with our VOTING! I have a huge family in District 1 and we've lived here forever! Voting matters to us and our way of life. So to recap, if you don't LIVE here and VOTE, don't insert your politics on OUR county.

Certain people will never stand for an opposing view about anything. It must be nice to be so perfect and think the majority are fools and even be so forward and rude as to tell them so. Whew. Sounds like they are a bit short on Chrisitan attitude too. Now back to the ignore button. Sheesh!
Short on Christian attitude? That's very Christian of you to judge. I didn't realize you were so perfect, not that you've said you are outright, but it comes across very strongly in your posts. You have a God-like complex. The first sentence I have quoted from you is interesting. The same can be said for you and your crew. You all certainly don't want ANYONE to oppose your views. And as for not accepting election results, YOU don't LIVE in Elk County or District 1. You don't know the pressures of life in Elk County. We haven't quite ever accepted Barack Obama winning his re-election either. That's OUR prerogative.

You wouldn't begrudge the peanut gallery the opportunity to attempt to bully their way to dominance, would you? Must be nice to be soooo self-riteousness that you don't hesitate to spew verbal diarrhea at whomever is unlucky enough to be your target at the time. Let someone else be unwise enough to post what they actually think, let it not jive with the bullies' opinions and they will become the newest target.  It won't take long.  ::)
Bully their way to dominance? Seriously? Self-RIGHTEOUS? Really? Catwoman, your post says what you think about EVERYONE with the one sentence: "Let someone else be unwise enough to post what they actually think, let it not jive with the bullies' opinions and they will become the newest target." So, when Ross starting posting what he thinks years ago and his posts didn't JIVE with the bullies' opinions, HE became THEIR newest target. Right? It is ok for you and your bullies, er, buddies to bully people and bitch about their opinions as long as their opinions have nothing to do with you or don't disagree with yours. That's what I've noticed after reading a few of your posts.

How is it someone from the east coast and someone from Wichita think they can dictate what we here in Elk County, Kansas put up with? Unless you live here, you have no say in any election dealing with this county. Your unwarranted arguments on who we should vote for in our county are invalid.

I voted for Shari because she is an old family friend. I had read the post about the candidate forum at the fair, but did not believe it until earlier today. I was having coffee with my grandmother and her friend and they were talking about some comments made at the fair. I heard all about how rude Shari was and that she would not answer questions that people had of her and kept pointing to Mr. Ritz to answer questions. Grandmothers' friend said that Mr. Ritz had his good record to run on whereas Shari was the newcomer and should have been more forthcoming and answered the questions. Grandmothers' friend also said that Shari didn't seem to have any new ideas than what has been tried in the past and no real solutions to any problems this county faces. Therefore, Grandmother and I realized our mistakes and we will both be writing in Doug Ritz in November! Good luck Mr. Ritz! We need you!

You are a brand new poster. Welcome. Why don't you tell us about yourself...even though what you've already said pins you down pretty well. Whoo! 8) Ya have to lighten up here or you'll give yourself high blood pressure.

I may be a brand new poster but I've been reading your self-absorbed commentary for quite some time. I don't feel the need to tell you anything about myself because I don't have to and I don't like to brag about myself like you do. Besides, you have already decided that what i've said pins me down pretty well. I don't have high blood pressure and I don't have to worry about it. I don't feel a need to lighted up either. I call them like I see them and you ma'am are a liberal pain in the ass.  **The Raven

Diane, lists don't cause suicides, tyrannical liberals do. Besides it's against the law in most states. Jeeze, is all you do is cause hate and discontent on the forum?

Who cares that the Kshillbillys misspelled Bible? I think every one understood where he was going. Who cares if you can't trust Jarhead? Or that you think Varmit is a liar. No one cares for your judgement of them. So, my point being. GET YOUR KNICKERS OUT OF A KNOT. If you're so busy, like you claim, why are you always on here?  --The Raven.
