Ricky LeRoy Wilson, age 68, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away tragically on July 16, 2026.  He was born on April 9, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas.  Known to many as Rick, he will be remembered for his humble spirit, strong integrity, and unwavering work ethic.

Rick attended North Elk High School in Howard, Kansas, and later completed technical training with Boeing.  He dedicated 36 years of his career to Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems where he served as a team lead in the stretch press shop.  After retiring in 2020, he embraced life at Grand Lake in Oklahoma where he found great joy in the simple pleasures he loved most.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Rick enjoyed spending time outdoors--fishing, riding his motorcycle, and watching tractor pulls.  He particularly enjoyed fishing with Rahl and the Walnut Valley Bass Club.  He had a special talent for crafting fishing lures and was known by many as the neighborhood "Mr. Fix It".  Above all, Rick cherished time with his family.  He loved entertaining and creating lasting memories, especially with his grandchildren who brought him endless pride and happiness. Rick will be deeply missed for his kind heart, genuine nature, and the meaningful connections he built with everyone he met.

Left to remember Ricky are his wife, Tammi Wilson; their children, Robbie (Jennifer) Sharp of Richards, Texas, Kailee (Cory) Niday of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Kendra (Brandon) Bartel of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Colton Wilson of Grove, Oklahoma; his father, Lester LeRoy Wilson; and his sister, Cheryle (Danny) Edwards of Yates Center, Kansas. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Reghan Ervin, Brexton and Kenslee Niday, Remmi, Benjamin, LeRoy, Haislee, and Harper Bartel, as well as his nephews, Jerrid, Justin, and Curtis Baumghartel. In addition, he is survived by his best friend and cousin, Rahl Wilson; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Cindy Sharp of Richards, Texas; and the canine love of his life, Towanda Jo Wilson.    He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy "Joan" (Gilbert) Wilson; his brother, Tracy Wilson; and his niece, Robin Baumgartel.

There will be a visitation for family and friends to honor Ricky from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Vista Towers (11th Floor) at Shangri La, 57200 E. Highway 125 at Monkey Island, Oklahoma.  Dress casually and bring your fishing pole if you wish.  Shuttle will be available.  Nichols-Stephens Funeral & Cremation Services of Grove, Oklahoma has been entrusted with arrangements.
