Kierra Ashlynn-Rita Bartram, age 20, of Severy, Kansas, passed away at her home on May 23, 2026.  She was born on January 15, 2006 in Kansas City, Kansas, and was adopted and raised by Roy and Janet (Mackintosh) Bartram.

Kierra fought an uphill battle with medical issues throughout her life.  She had a great love for Tigger and wolves.  She was a 2024 graduate of the West Elk Schools in Howard, Kansas.  While in school, she loved being a part of the Patriot Coffee Club.  She at one time also worked at the Swinging Bridge Cafe in Moline, Kansas.  Kierra was known to be funny and a little sassy at times.  She enjoyed art, coloring, and doing word searches.

While younger, Kierra was a member of Girl Scouts and participated in 4-H.  She loved the color purple, and the family requests that those attending her service to please share in that memory and wear something purple. 

Including her mother, Kierra is survived by ten siblings, James Bartram of Iowa, Jodie Schaffer of Indiana, J.R. Bartram of Texas, Christopher Bartram of Missouri, Jessica Bartram of New Hampshire, Misty Comfort of Indiana, Matthew Bartram of Missouri, Paul Bartram of Kansas, Nathan Bartram of Kansas, and Julianna Bartram of Kansas.  Kierra was preceded in death by her father, Roy.

Cremation has been requested with a Celebration of Life to be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  Memorials have been requested to help with funeral expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
