Alice Irene Fisher, 85, beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 10, 2018.  She was born in Howard, Kansas to Ray Edward Snook and Lily Irene (Harlan) Snook.

Alice was a graduate of East High School in Wichita, Kansas.  On February 18, 1950, Alice was married to John Fisher at Sunnyside Church in Wichita, Kansas.  She was a wonderful homemaker and also worked at Allen Elementary School as a Para-Professional for the Hearing Impaired.  She was a shining example of Christ's love and lived her life with unwavering faith, never missing an opportunity to witness and share the word of her Lord and Savior.

Alice is survived by her husband of 68 years, John; her children, Maxine (Willim) Adsit and Brent (Tonya) Fisher; six grandchildren, Will (Katy) Adsit, Angela (T.J.) Myers, John Isaac Fisher, Isaiah Fisher, Anna Fisher, and Israel Fisher; great-grandchildren, Caden Myers, Macamey Myers, Alasdair Adsit, Aoife Adsit, and Fiona Adsit;' sister, Sharon Snook; nieces Vicki (Dr. Lamont) Bloom and Kathy (Shane) Higginbottom; and many other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her dad, Ray Snook; her mom, Lily Spear; her brother, Wayne Snook; and her sister, Genevieve Terrel.

Funeral service was held at Riverlawn Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas.  Memorials may be designated in her memory to the Riverlawn Christian Church, 4243 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas 67204.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.  Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center, Kansas was in charge of arrangements.
