Found a USFA Rodeo, all US-made (SN- BXXX) . I'm wanting a nice set of grips for it. Would the grips for this model be the same as or similar to a Colt or Uberti?

Thanks!

I really appreciate the info! I haven't actually sent the money yet, and told the seller I the revolver absolutely needed to be 100% US parts and US made. It's my understanding a sure indication is the shape of the firing pin; if it's cone shaped, it's U.S. made, if it's convex, it contains foreign parts. Really, my primary concern is the frame, barrel and cylinder. I own several Uberti's and honestly have no problem with their internal parts.

So am I correct regarding the firing pin as being an indicator of the manufacture of the parts?

Thanks for the help!

That is a definitive yes on the cone firing pin.  Transition from what I have seen is around A and B Rodeos and 21000 on the other guns.  Boxes can be switched.  But the box with a label that matches your gun helps as well.

Hammer checkering, and the firing pin shape are the easiest way to tell I think.

Forgot...grips?

I have a few factory grips that I would be willing to part with.  But no they are not Uberti or Colt.
