Buffalo Bill movie question...

This is for M2 as I know he'll have an answer or opinion...
Had gone to the original theatrical release of the Buffalo Bill movie with Paul Newman many years ago and recently saw it again on cable. As I watched it I wondered where all the old west props went, specifically the paintings of Buffalo Bill (Paul Newman) and the promotional wall paintings, signage and suchlike they had in the tents and saloons as well as all the outdoor stuff, tents, costumes, etc.

 I remember when it was filmed, a lot of that movie was filmed west of Calgary in the same area as Open Range.  The same mountain in the background.  Doubt if they took all that stuff back to the U.S.  Never saw any of it displayed locally after the movie was made, could have been trashed.

as BCLG stated made in Canada, only thing I ever did in Canada ( and that was Niagara Falls) was Die Hard Commercial spot in the late 70's

I thought Joel McCrae played in Buffalo Bill movie   Or is this another Buffalo Bill movie about Buffalo Bill by the same name of Buffalo Bill?
