I have 40 265 gr LBT WFNGC's, I would like to try these in my Uberti 73, 45 colt. Could anyone give a suggestion as to a load using unique. I dont want to beat the rifle, but, I dont want a mouse fart load either. Something that would actually be capable of hunting deer possibly. Thanks in advance, Brian.

I'm not sure what that bullet is and can't offer a load suggestion, but if it is for a '73 be sure the OAL is not over 1.6"

hammer1,

The LBT type bullets protrude less into the powder space since the larger meplat places more bullet  weight into the nose.
Thus, standard Alliant data for a 250 gr bullet would be aok.

Alliant - 250 gr bullet - 9.5 Unique  suggest backing off to 9.0 / Unique to start.

Try a dummy cartridge in the rifle first to be sure that the wide meplat will feed ok and that the fatter nose will fit into the barrel with no issues.

I have had feeding issues with the Keith type bullets.  Tread carefully!
