I believe they are considerably higher at other places. around $80. check with Taylors and Sons www.taylorsfireams.com to compare. I was having trouble downloading the link you had..In comparison Midwayusa offers the #2 Lyman for around $53.

Try just sportsmansguide.com and using "creedmore" as the search term; that should take you right there.

Sorry it took so long to get back on this; I'm not being notified of responses to this post or any others for that matter.  Maybe there's something about this board I need to know about at far as that goes.
Were you able to find the sight section of the Sportsman's Giude website or not even get to it?

One thing you should be aware of with ladder sights.  You have to loosen the eye piece to adjust the elevation.  In the lower cost sights this is also the way you adjust the windage.  If you loosen the eye piece to adjust the elevation most likely you'll move the the windage too and maybe not know it.  Good ones cost at least $300 to $600.   Ya get what ya pay for and for $49.95 don't expect it to be a $600 sight.  But if your just shootin tin cans behind the barn, they'll be good enough.
