I just oredered a 45-75 from cimarron and it is on its way. Please forgive me but I have no idea what to do next for brass or dies. What, Where do I get brass from and if it is better to fire form some can you give me some tips on that please?
Thanks

For my part, I am not yet into 'making' brass, so I have been buying Bertram (I know, I know, ouch) from wherever I can find it.  I have 60 rounds now, which will do me for what I need.

I got the Lee 45-75 dies from Track of the Wolf and they work well.  As for bullets, I have been using 350gr 45-70 bullets that have also seemed to be doing well.

Thanks for the info, I did not realize how expensive the 45-75 is and how little brass there was. From some posts I saw last year I thought Starline was going to have brass. Oh well. Another question is what is the deal with a cimarron Uberti v.s. the chaparrel, Is one of them chambered different so that you need special dies?

I've heard there is, but don't know and would like to find out.  I'm thinking of adding a Uberti to my collection, I own a NWMP chapperall, hopefully I can use the same round in eigther.

So what the general consensis is that the same rounds will work in eigther?  I noticed the fired rounds from my chappy looked belled out some and I just neck sized them.
