What's the general consensus guys of the above?

I was told to give the Pietta manufacturer a wide berth, therefore opted for the Euroarms.  However recently purchase a Colt Navy 61 and very impressed with the build quality.  Friend of mine has a Ubertti NMA and general fit of handle very poor, also some machine marks on it above trigger guard area, not that bad, but still not pretty.

IMHO...
Companies like CVA and a few others imported average lower cost guns in the seventies & eighties , and fit and finish suffered.
You could find them in Discount catalogs... for $69 to $99.
Even Cabala's had those prices, 8 or 9 years ago.

We the buyers , CAS shooters , collectors , reenactors, etc... have for years demanded better & better quality.
company's like Cimmaron saw the light early , Taylors,  Navy Arms followed.
One Importer Garrett demanded the best quality Sharps in the early 80's , Palmetto Arms was the manufacturer, it was a limited (maybe 4000 guns) but it was one fine replica.
Colt themselves , imported the Uberti line of CNC C&B guns , finished them in Hartford, and sold them at 3 times the price of the common import. Today those guns (Colt's 2nd Gen BP series) demand and bring high prices.

Which is best ?  I like Uberti .... I have some very nice ones , Henry , my 2nd Gen. Colt's.
And of the Uberti's I like Cimmaron's best.

Pietta's today are way better then the early ones....

I have a pair of the Pietta stamped NMAs and have no quarrel with them at all.
I have heard that all new Italian Remingtons are now being made by Pietta?

Sundance the only way I can answer which is best is by the way a rev fits you and shoots...functioning well and accurate. I have three 1858's an old ASP (Armi San Paolo), a Target Pietta, and a Uberti NMA. I like um all best but differant. Pietta is a solid tack driver and well fitted with a good finnish. Uberti is a real good shooter and accurate too, good finnish. The ASP is tight, works great, and shoots real good groups(old). Also is the same frame size as an original Remington. Rev...I got to see an  original at a gun store. Almost bought it $450...but had home made sites put on it. Looked it's age.
I know that you can tune one to fit your needs so it boils down to personal choice I guess.
You see what I had to do...LoL!

Howdy Pard!
The new Uberti '58 Remmies with the forged frames are fine pieces of work; excellent fit and finish and quite nice hammer cocks and trigger pulls; a far cry from my pard's pietta '58 some 6-7 years back...

I have both Pietta and Uberti and I do like the fit and finish of the Uberti a little better than the Pietta.

I've owned 'em all at one time or another.  The trouble is the inconsistancy in Italian guns.  You can get a great one or a crappy one from anybody.   My most recent is a Euroarms, nice action, shoots like a laser beam, but had the second worst set of wood stocks on it I've ever seen.  I replaced them with fake ivories from Tombstone and it now looks as good as it shoots.  I've had 3 Pietta's and they were all good shooters, but one broke the rammer pin the second time I loaded it up.   I've never had a Uberti Remington, but I've had many Uberti Colt's and have gotten a bad one from them too.
Best bet is to buy where you can look over 2 or 3, or if you mail order, send it back and tell them you want another one if there's anything wrong.
