Or maybe no finish ???

Stripped her down to the white. Think I'll leave her that way. Using white vinegar did the trick. Heaven knows I shouldn't inhale any more fumes :o! Needed some baking soda to finish it. Wonder if the wife misses that box in the fridge yet! ::)

Maybe you could polish it up and make it look stainless! I have a polished steel "U S Marshall" that looks stainless but is polished steel. So far it acts like it. No rust of patina.

I did a 50 cal muzzle loader a few years back and finished with the plum brown. Makes an awfully nice looking "old timey" finish.

I can get a used Uberti made from a kit.  It is almost white.  IF I get it I'd do it in Brown.
