Col Moody commanded the "Columbia Detachment RE" of 1858 and supervised the early infrastructure of the Province. He also acted as Lt. Gov. until he departed in 1863.

Interesting
the article's use of First Nations man or person , aboriginal peoples and indigenous peoples of the Americas,
I suppose it is no longer proper to say INDIAN.
I look forward to seeing the album when they are available for viewing on line.

I'm an RE re-enactor circa 1858-63. In the era, they were "Indians".
Political Correctness (what's correct about it?) did NOT exist.
