Wife deploying for hurricane relief

I just came down to check my e-mail and there was the deployment notice. She will be leaving in the next 24 hours. We don't know where but we do know it will be for at least 2 weeks. She is a pharmacist with the Public Health Service. We're going to miss her while she is gone, but they need her more than we do right now. Please keep her in your prayers.

Tell Kathleen that the Marshal and I are sending her daily and nightly prayers.
We are proud of her, and the many that are over there working round the clock to help.
 
As I got up this morning and was making coffee, I gave thanks for something as simple as fresh clean drinking water
 and a hot bath.
Funny, how we take our every day things for granted, until something like this happens.
 Marshal said last night it is like watching something from a "futuristic movie"..
It truly has to be a "hell on earth " for those people.

I will keep the candles burning and the small prayers said through out the days to come.for all involved.

Well a little update. She is safe and snug in her own bed for tonight. In typical Government fashion, "with in 24 hours" has come and gone and she still hasn't received her travel orders. So, we know she is going to go, we even have the state, if not the city, Mississippi. What we don't know is if it will be tomorrow, or later. One of the Ladies she went down to Florida with last year to help out after Andrew said one of the people she works with got a deployment notice on Tuesday and still hasn't gotten her orders. So now we are in the Govern"mental" hurry up and wait cycle.

I've been passing on the thoughts, prayers and hugs as they come in. I'll keep y'all posted. THanks for all you support. It really means a great deal to both of us.
