importing from US
« on: June 28, 2011, 07:58:19 PM »
Hello to all you gunslingers!!

I'm new here, just like I was new to the USFA Forum before they decided to shut it down.  I was just finding my way around and getting comfortable even posted a few messages and bang!!  Down it went.

Anyway, here I am patiently waiting for my first single action revolver to claw it's way through the US export documentation maize.  I've been told that it's become longer with the new admin. in Washington??

Have any of you had any recent experience with importing revolvers across the border from one dealer to another.  I'm wondering how much longer I will have to wait before I can swagger to the range, hat brim pulled down low, keeping my back to the sun.

Cheers to all!!

Are you doing the paperwork yourself, or using a broker?

Last I heard from  my Canadian dealer is the US seller is waiting for US documentation.  I haven't filled out anything yet.

It does seem to take a while, even through a dealer.

Yes, I've been waiting since early May.

Hard to buy any single action clones on this side of the border.
