Gold is up another $7.50 today already,

and in the comotion of the rise of gold, I really kinda forgot about the value of silver. I was surprised to see that it was at almost $25/oz. not too bad.

And I have a pretty good cache of silver so that is a nice treat..

There is my gold finds to date (minus what I gave Phyllis in a locket)

And Gold closed at another high...$1350.

I thought I would check on my silver and not counting my Morgans and other coinage I have about 120 oz in rounds, Eagles, Maples Kooks and even a couple of 5oz bars. Cool since the rounds I got for $4-7 per oz....but I am not gettin them for investment but cuz I like them...

I bet more folks are gonna sell their gold now...(but the money folks think it is gonna hit $1500 by years end..wow is all i can say

For Whatever it is worth,
I fear we will not be participating in metals (except for lead mining) as we are investing in beef, a couple 50 pound bags of rice, several cases of tinned vegetables and etcetera for the winter as the local mercantile is having their "case lot" sale :-) ....

P'erfesser

That is a most worthy investment. I am also puttin by stuff in case we get that earthquake that everyone talks about.

The gold in the above picture is mostly "free" gold or at least paid a minimal price.

I wished I had room to put some meat aside.

Your investment is to be sure a very worthwile one...

one of the fun things about searching for gold is all the cool rocks you find. These are from Nevada City and Angels Camp. I keep hoping to find gold inside of them, so far no luck there

. . . . GOING UP AND UP AND UP . . . . .

Glad that i have about half of my "liquidity" in gold . . . that I bought at a bit below $ 1,000 pr . . . but sure not buying more at the current price . . . .

And sure not selling any either !    :)

Called my stock broker and asked him what I should be investing in today; He said, "canned goods and ammunition!"
