Cowboy Comp® Action

The 'Model P'™ featuring Cimarron's superior fit and finish has long been the most authentic and highest quality reproduction of the 1873 Colt®. Rugged and dependable inside, the new Model ‘P’™ with Cimarron's Cowboy Comp® action eliminates weaknesses associated with the 19th century design of the 1873 Colt® single action.

Saw this and just wondered what a "Cowboy Comp® Action" was?

Thanks,
USBP

This was the term Cimarron used when the Model P first started being made with a coil hand spring.  Originally this was a Cimarron exclusive, although Uberti now puts coil springs in generic Cattleman revolvers.
